Rigid denim, also known as raw denim, is unwashed fabric that has not undergone shrink-proofing.
The appeal of rigid denim is that the texture feel changes as the wearer continues to wear the garment, allowing the garment to be developed into a favourite piece of clothing.
◯ COLOR FADING & COLOR TRANSFER
Basically, the color fades repeatedly. When washed with other clothes, the color will fade.
Also, the color will transfer to the leather patch behind the belt and the name tag.
In addition to socks, there is a possibility of color transfer to bags and other items you carry when you go out.
◯ SHRINKAGE
When washed in a washing machine, the overall length will shrink by about 5 cm. If you want to cut the length, we recommend you to wash it 2 to 3 times.
◯ TEXTURE
As the word “rigid” suggests, the fabric is stiff.
There is glue all over the fabric. This is necessary because without glue on the warp threads, the threads cannot be straightened and the fabric cannot be woven.
Usually, this glue is removed by washing once, and the fabric becomes softer as it is worn.
