"BACKLASH X MMY" Smooth Leather Big Zip Jacket
This blouson is a collaboration with the leather brand “ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH”, which continues to pursue its obsession with leather, from the development of original materials to unique processing and dyeing methods, pushing the possibilities of leather to the limit.
The base is made of high-quality Japanese steer leather tanned with white tannin.
The leather is then tanned again with a combination of several vegetable tannins including mimosa and oil to give it a supple texture that cannot be felt with ordinary steer leather.
Product dyeing process is applied to the very flexible texture base.
Even after dyeing with shrinkage process, the leather is extremely soft to the touch.
The dyeing process is done by product dyeing on the pure white base leather, resulting in a high density of black coloring.
The texture of the leather is soft and light.
Front zip design with MMY's iconic big zipper.
Atmospheric cotton quilt lining made of shiny rayon with pigmented finish.
Unique original pattern with a wide back.
Designed with a collaboration tag with the names of the two brands.
